Photographer's Note
Cherrapunji in located in the Indian state of Meghalaya. Locally known as Sohra, Cherrapunji's claim to fame is for receiving the highest amount of rainfall on earth. Cherrapunji is thus the "wettest" place on planet earth!
The average annual rainfall is 11931.7 mm. The elevation of the place is 1330 msl.
Nohkalikai waterfalls is a popular tourist destination just outside town.

You are right, this is indeed turquoise. I like the high POV, for a scanned shot this has very good quality. I would love to visit this place one day.

Wow!!!Where was this beauty for so long???? This is absolutely splendid!!!! I like the high POV and the the gush of the huge volume of water pouring down. But what really stands out is the emerald(or turquoise nay be!!!)lake at the bottom.
Fantastic shot...certainly your best!!

Hi Paul,
This is a very well composed shot of this amazing waterfall. It looks like you were there in one of the driest periods as with that amount of rainfall I should imagine the whole cliff becomes a waterfall?
