Hola!
I have not enought words to explain the feeling watching this portrait. Great. In this situation I think it's a good idea to center the subjet, and not to place in a 1/3. The frame with the door car it's powerful, "she is outside with the heavy rain,...exausted, and the observer is inside, protected" . Dramatic this picture. Good job. It can be a good travel reporter if you have some other pictures of this travel.

Hello Evren, image of emotional impact, which transmits contrasts of feelings as almost everything in the India. Also I see in the expression of the beautiful girl a species of sadness and serenity.
A real photographic reportage of the daily life in Delhi, congratulations for the opportunity.
A greeting.

An excellent shot, Evren. I'm sure this girl has a hard life, but you've managed to capture a certain beauty and grace here that is quite touching.
The light, the steamed up wet window - full of atmosphere.
Good stuff!
Cheers,

Hello, Evren--
Great work here, i really like this one. The way the arms of the girl pull to the upper left of the frame while she looks to the lower right creates a tension in the composition that speaks of the tension of her existence. The hands smashed against the window are a powerful device as well.
Thanks!

An image that breaks all the rules of photography and composition. Over-exposed areas, the face of the subject hidden in shadows and centered, lines competing for attention... yet everything comes together in a very special way, nothing is random about this image and the end result is a very powerful portrait of a girl in a third world country trying to survive.
Hats off to you, my friend.

Merhaba Evren,
Cok begendim.

You will always get me with this kind of pics... even if a cute kid is involved.
On the critical side, maybe you've hit a bit hard on sepia and brightness especially in the upper corners, looks like fading into the white frame.

You have the recipe for this kind of shot, Evren. No one does it better, and it gets me (and clearl quite a few otehrs) every time! Treatment is dreamy and magical, aided by the mosit intensity of the monosson.
Brilliant work,

I love this composition of this street girl from the plush interiors of a car. Two different worlds are there in this shot. Rich and Poor.the message is loud and clear.Great shot! TFS

Too good reality captured.

hi evren,
how've you been?
this is a beautiful photograph.
however i don't think she's selling flowers..
she seems to be asking for SHANIDAAN (donation to ward off the evil influence of saturn). this is because of the can she seems to be holding in her right hand as you find a lot of people including children doing at many of the road crossings and red lights in delhi on every SHANIVAAR (saturday).
was it a saturday?
i'm curious about this photograph now
hey i've lost all the numbers on my phone as something went wrong with it. so please message me your number and let's catch up sometime.
take care :)

Yes classical but brilliant one, her pose and timing are excellent, the outside context is well captured witth what she's holding. There is a special mood rendered by the scratches on the car glaze likewise scars in her young life. I wish I could see more of her priceless face ...
Merci.

Cosette from Les Misιrables… ?
That was my first thought…
And the second one as well…
Solid dose of 'catchy tune' photography is in there..
Who wouldn't fell in love with this picture…?
Who..?
Dramatic (if not theatrical ) production…
Excellent stuff, Evren

I think it is the kind of photos that could last in the future. I am no soothsayer, I cannot tell what would be the future. So I will be unable to say if this photo will last for sure, but in my opinion, it could. With a little bit of help maybe.
Well, it will last in my own memory...

Truly a work of art, Evren, this child bathed in soft ethereal light, yet living a life of poverty and (no doubt) exploitation. Such light signifies redemption, from the church to "Close Encounters", but there is no redemption here. She looks downcast and resigned, which makes it more sad. No wonder this has been marked a Favorite 11 times! Regards, Ken.

Hello Evren! The little beautiful street girl, a sad moment on this beautiful Zurich Sunday morning, spoilt as we are. She seems so far away from my world, the look through the window brings that over even stronger, the division between worlds. It touches me in different ways but I also appreciate your excellent photo work. Barbara.

Hello Evren:
Wow wow and wow. THis reminds me of that classic Steve McCurry photo. Everything is great here, the sad expression the artificial wall created by the window, a really great photo.

An absolutely stunning work that carries a tremendous strong poetry inside as well as melancholic drama. The posture of the girl is so touching as is her deep sad face expression. The wipes of condensation on the window symbolising the confusion of her thoughts. I like the way she holds up her bag in one hand, just above the door end. An image that will last as Claire said. Stunning, thank you. Sabine

This is a living example of how beauty and tragedy go hand in hand in life .... one of the many contradictions this universe revolves around.
Love the emotion induced in this photograph ... almost brings me to tears.

This is a masterpiece what else can I say about this photo. I love it a lot and looks like as if she is an actress for an art cinema but I know this is 'real'and we see this almost everyday but it is purely a genius's work that makes an everyday shot so special.
