Photographer's Note

In a city like Mumbai, which has more or less a 20 million strong population, one can imagine how much waste management is important...
So, as in many developping countries, it is a big business to collect, then sell that waste. Thousands of people roam the street for that. Some collect paper, others plastic, wood, even bones... you can see kids with magnets trying to catch any bit of metal they can on the sidewalks... Once collected, they bring it to a 'wholesale' dealer who in turn will sell it to who needs it(i dont know who that could be...)
Maybe some will find that pic a bit hard... but we can see by his stomach size that guy is nt poor...
As this guy is in the street and he is selling his goods...this will go in my Mumbai street vendors and shops theme
Hope you like it
