Hello Evren - welcome back, superbly artistic, a simple wall is tranformed into a work of art, the child has a strange frightened expression.

Merhaba Evren. Wow, this is a great shot, the PoV is wonderful, very dynamic... and amazing composition, with the head in the extreme corner. the choice of focus is also interesting, it really adds to the dynamism. great job, I have certainly missed your work on here.
Take care, and thanks for the lens recommendation.

Evren, what an entry after a month of break.
Like everything about this picture, pov so close to the wall and the child is very original and interesting, the expression and eyes are superb, great background giving the contexts, dof and bw just as nice. Superb photo.

That's a strong one Evrin! I like this composition. One and only flaw in my opinion is that the head of this kid is so tightly cropped that it meets the edge of this image. I would like to see a bit more of him. The rest is superb: processing, DOF, framing.
Very nice shot!

Hi Evren. It's been a while since you posted your last photo but this is one that was worth the wait. Superb framing with the tilted brick wall and the kid at the very front looking at you with the big eyes. The tonal range of the b&w is great, too. Excellent.

Wow, I can almost feel the rough texture of the bricks! This is a beautiful, highly creative composition, Evren, particularly with the boy at lower right. He appears unsure whether he's doing something wrong by being where he is. Meanwhile, ordinary life goes on in the distance. This one is memorable, congratulations. Regards, Ken.

Hi Evren,
Superbly accomplished, artistic shot with that simple wall receding into the distance, and the little child's face imploringly looking at me... absolutely magical, beautiful...

Hello Evren!
It's fantatic to see you uploading pictures again. This angular masterpiece is one of very your best. I don't remember much B/W work from you but this is stunning, from the dramatic face in the foreground all the way to the woman down the pasage...
Brilliant,

Hi Evren, very nice to see you again.. Seeing your title: the wall /II, means that there has to be a number one. I will check your portfolio later on for it.
Very strong and catching composition, the angle along the wall, seeing the boy’s eyes, is so strong. The tilt is great. Glad you’re here with a picture again.

Hello Evren!
At the first glance I believed it's Sohrab image - but then I found it's yours. Very well done, the composition is splendid, and the gaze of this child is incredibly intense. And after some time spent on contemplating it I can say it definitely has "your twist".

Evren,
This is one great frame...mother of a shot, may I say, and mean it. The focus is neither on the boy nor on the woman, but on the rough brick wall that separates them from us or us from them. It is indeed a story of a wall. Just fantastic in its creativity. Welcome back after a long time. We missed you.

Great use of the converging lines to take us into the depths of this image and a great use of the tilt to add a dynamic edge - along with the brilliant positioning of people along the route to the vanishing point - we have something/someone to connect with all the way down the line.
The wall adds a deeply symbolic feel to this image which is again heghtened by the movement and expression of the people. A very accomplished image Evren! Good to see you back!

This is really Good! I love the expression on the boy's face and the angle of the photograph. The bricks on the wall adds lot of rigidity to the whole composition.
Good Job

Hello Evren, Nice to see some B/W shots from you. This is great--the tilt, unusual choice of DOF, the blurred face of the boy all create a sense of unease, dislocation. Well done.

This critic won't be of any help to you, not adding nor removing anything that might have been said (sorry can't read everything)...
It's only to say that this is exactly what I'm expecting from photography. I wonder why I didn't say it before and put right into my favs...

very nice one Evren, bold composition, i like the way you placed the boy in the corner. however i dont know why the focus is on the wall behind the boy, a bit unusual. good stuff

Merhaba Evren,
Your composition is really eye catching. The way you framed this wall with some lesser points of interests like the boy and the lady is great!
Thanks for sharing.
A smile

Trιs belle composition.
J'aime beaucoup la mise au point sur la texture de pierre. Le regard de l'enfant directement sur nous. beaucoup de dynamisme !!!
Bravo !!!

I guess this is one of these instances where (the perhaps accidental) focus of the wall worked in your favour...
Such a beautiful photograph... Just discovering your older pictures which show a very different you...
