Photographer's Note
A classic photo of the Taj Mahal , with a slight alteration to give it some personality. I realise it is slightly tilted, but I like the effect it gives- different, a little unique in its own way.
As you enter the Taj Mahal, you'll notice that it is not centred, as one would expect.. instead, it a little to the right than centre. The meaning behind this is because the eye has to go to it, it cannot just fall in front of you effortlessly. Kind of like love..

also the 4 towers are built leaning slightly outwards...so if there is an earthquake they wont fall on the taj..
each year the outside gets attacked by acid rain and the great foundries at agra have been closed down..consequently there is even greater poverty than before...as you may have noticed...
the view from agra fort to the taj is quite lovely...it was misty on the river the day i was there
very informative and peaceful shot
