I like the candid nature of your shot...the dynamic framing of the turban gives a sense of movement through the frame or if he was still a sense of pre-occupation beyond it. A nicely rendered situational portrait!

I think you are being unkind with yourself about the eye-contact!
This is a very fine portrait shot and the man appears to be looking straight out of the frame's corner; a great, natural line!
Your shallow dof works perfectly, giving sharpness to the man's features, against a fine bokeh.

I don't think you could taken a much better shot than this if you had time to set up, this is awesome capture! I like where he is looking, it looks like he is deep in thought, very mysterious looking gentleman. Love the lighting and it has sharp details. Very well done, tfs.

Even without eye contact, the man's face is clearly visible and in front view. So it doesn't really matter.
The white clothes, turban and the white beard go well with the bronzed skin.

I know I sound like a broken record but your portraits are an inspiration to me. I only commented on another picture earlier how uncomfortable I am with taking shots of strangers so your gallery is a source of endless fascination to me. You may not have gotten the eye contact you wanted but this is still an incdible sharp and vivid image of a really interresting character. Beautifull done.
