Hello Farhat,
a very interesting daily life scene showing the toil of the gentleman in a busy street of Calcutta. The process of repair sounds scary but he surely feels lucky for having this job and is hurrying down the street deeply concentrated. I like the dynamism of this full frame, the human presence and the movement around the foreground scene make a good complement. The monochrome conversion is very effective and has elliminated any possible distractions retaining the essence of the story. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely week,
Ourania

Namaskar dear Farhat
Another excellent daily life photo. I like the B&W treatment, giving it a sense of timelessness and documentary effect. The vertical frame works well, the image is sharp and you controlled the shutter speed superbly to deliver this sense of movement.
Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day

Bonjour Farhat,
En regardant ces pneus de prθs, je constate qu'il n'y a plus grand chose ΰ faire avec ces pneus qui sont usιs ΰ la corde. J'apprιcie l'utilisation du noir et blanc pour ce moment de la vie quotidienne.
Bon dimanche

Hello Farhat,
This is original street photography showing how resourceful this man is. I like the way that the old tyres take up a good deal of the frame making a centre of interest. A super b/w picture.

Hello Farhat,
The scene is not rare in some part of the city, what is uncommon, is the age of the man. Usually some younger people do this...But they are never photographed so beautifully.
Excellent PoV and clarity.
A very nice daily life shot.

Hello Farhat
This candid shot of a daily scene that most of us would have passed by without a second glance has created a strong black and white portrait of this old man wheeling these used tires down the street. A timeless piece of reporting photography.
have a great sunday

Hello Farhat,
A fine snap-shot from a Calcutta street. There is a good graphic effect of the black tyres and his white clothes. I think he enjoyed playing with a bicycle-wheel when he was a child, beating it with a stick and running aong it, and now he can have fun the same way even as an adult.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Farhat - A striking image this and one which highlights the thrifty 'mend-and-make-do" attitude that has has almost been lost to the world of the wealthy but still has a valuable place in the world of recycling! Excellent in B&W. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Farhat
A splendid b&w daily life scene from Calcutta (Kolkata) with good sharpness and tonal range. The man with the tyres dominates the busy street scene. Good sidelight from the left and effective tight framing. Punchy light contrasts yet still with good shadow detail and only minimal oe in the highlights. Tfs!

Hello Farhat
Recycling is a valorours gesture; nevertheless I saw many times lost new "coatings" of vulcanized tires abandoned on highways; they represent danger for automobilists.
Anyway this old man had a noble intention expressed with much depth because the rolling tires are to the point of hitting the lens, compared to the leafy backdrop.
Cheers.

Namaste Farhat,
a real daily life scene in Calcutta, where this elder man rolling the old tyres, and the busy street, create a powerful image, vital and a bit dramatic because of the B&W effect.
A clever composition, executed well.

Hi Farhat,
I was a bit silent during past days (without Internet-lot of traveling); just yesterday I came back from my Kerala trip, and it was excellent. My silence is broken. I've already started posting photos from this trip (I've sent you a mail message this morning).
Superb monochrome photo, excellent light, nice arrangement, very good low angle viewpoint. The tyres looks like our tour bus tyres, with a flat tyre during fifth day.
Excellent focusing. Well done.
Greetings,
Miro

Ciao Farhat
Ciao e buona giornata

Hi Farhat.
A very interesting image, with this scene of daily life in the city, I think nearly all can be reusable and these two great tires, sure it will, the image in B & W, gives a very thin line.
Very good image quality, sharpness is also great.
Well done.
Enjoy a happy day.
Best wishes.
Luis.

Hello Farhat,
I an excellent photo from the streets of Calcutta. It brings out the child in the onlooker until one reads the note. Why do you think this fellow has taken it Upon himself to recycle these tires? Are individuals supposed to recycle their own tires or is there any money to be made out of it or is this fellow just a plain conscientious citizen?
Regards,
MT
PS. I am glad Bollywood movies have happy endings. Yeşilηam movies, on the other hand, must have tragic endings. What good is a movie if it can't make you cry, anyway? :-))

Hi, Farhat,
Another interesting report from the streets of Calcutta. Very informative note and good illustration of your words. Similar tyres could not use on the roads of Russia, 'cause they have very old protector's level.
It is very dangerous for the cars and the people.
Best wishes and take care!

Hi Fahrat !
What an interesting post !
On one hand it's an excellent street capture showing daily life and work in Calcutta.
Apart from the lovely shot of the old man and his tyres, I like the hustle of the street behind, and your B&W version.
I was also very interested by your note. Good to know how these people make a living by helping the environment through recycling.
TFS and have a good Sunday.
