Photographer's Note
While in India I was working for 2 NGOs and teaching english. In Punjab, a number of migrants come from Bihar and work in very difficult conditions - despite Punjab being a very wealthy state, these people have basically no rights. The children do not go to school, and usually work in the fields. Female infanticide in Punjab is the highest in India (and the world) and it is extremely high amongst migrant workers (who prefer boys to work). This is one of the little girls I met (I will never forget her!)

stunning expressive picture. Brings out the essence of subject very well. In my opinion the vignetting would work even better if you did away with a very thick black border. great work overall.
