Photographer's Note

This is my third post of Amber Fort. This time it's just a detail of the arches we can see in one of the yards. The Indian architecture and its colours has always fascinated me.
Amber Fort is an important Palace-Fortress and a citadel where the kings have lived till the 18th century, when Jaipur became the capital. It's situated 11 kms far from Jaipur and it's an impressive masterpiece made of white and red sandstone, blending the Hindu and the Muslim styles and overlooking the Maotha Lake. It's possible for tourists to reach the Fort on elephant.
