Photographer's Note
Borong is a small settlement tucked up snugly in one corner in the lap of the great Himalayas.
The place where we had put up had more greenery than concrete .. fortunately.
The garden was alive with a variety of shrubs, flowers and orchids that is so typical of the himalayas.
And when flowers are so close by, can the bees be far away ?
So here we are .. a shot .. as old as time itself .. showing a bee sitting on a flower and gathering pollens from within.

Hi Samrat,
A nice colorful closeup. Nice to see him busy else it would have tasted your skin.:) Some months before I was obsessed with macros. My canon point and shoot took decent macros and I was very happy to see them. I really want o do macros again but after some while. Well I am also obsessed with sharp images and its has become a very bad habit as sometimes it gets accentuated and folks complain..LOL!! Therefore my friend I have tried to sharpen your busy bee a bit but was not successful due to the jpg format. I hope you will not mind it and enjoy it.
Haha!! you know I am finding no visible differences in it after I uploaded and saw it in compare mode.. LOL! Hope u see it..:)

Hi Samrat,
A very nice nature macro shot... I like the colors. However, the flower is a bit overexposed. The focus is perfect - and the framing and watermark are not at all distracting...
