On a hill at the entrance of the site of Mahabalipuram, is as put, a gigantic block of granite called the "butter ball of Krishna ". According to the legend, this butter ball would have untidily been dropped by Krishna when he was a baby; a greedy baby who stole the butter kept by her mother.

Such a cannonball, it s put in an incredible balance, challenging the laws of ground gravity. In reality, the rock is attached to its his base on the base, confiding it its stability. It is said that the English people tried to make it tumble by using seven elephants. Whitout success...

I had seen it several times in photo, and this one of Olivier Follmi had amused me a lot, because we saw children trying to push it to make it run. I wondered if I would be lucky to have such a scene too. It is hardly if I believed my eyes when I saw this beautiful Indian woman trying to push the ball, while her husband photographed her of a little higher. I had not enough time to frame as I wanted, showing a little better the ball in its incredible balance, because the pose of the woman lasted only a brief moment.
