Photographer's Note
This is a partial view of Malpe Beach, near Udupi, Karnataka.Malpe is 10kms from Manipal, and situated on the mouth of the River Udyavara. It was once an important port on the coast of Karnataka, and has a never ending stretch of golden, untouched beach, dotted by swaying palms, and with three rocky islands flanking its western part.
