Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in Rinchenpong, Sikkim.
It was late afternoon and it had been drizzling since the morning, which kept us indoors for the most of the morning hours till lunch time. After lunch we braved the weather and took to a short walk close to our little hotel. The rain was still on and made us feel sad that the rest of the vacation would compel us to stay indoors, but then all of a sudden from nowhere we saw light, a Ray of Sunlight pierced through the clouds and lit up the valley below and became our ray of hope.

Hi Paromita,
Asadharon chhobi. Amazing light through clouds. Great exposer control. Nice colours and depth. The scenery is beautiful and you have composed it brilliantly. Excellent. I tried a workshop on it, just to adjust light and add some contrast. Hope you like it. Anyway you have done a great job indeed. Tfs.

Hi Paromita --
Nice one!!! Needless to say that the main attraction of this snap is the sun light through the clouds and steep valley.
At first I hesitated about posting a photoshop as you have got one already which is indeed a good one but then the beauty of this photo and the idea I conceived compelled me to post one. Hope you like it.

Hi Paromita,
What an amazing shot ! Beautifully controlled and captured ... exposure, metering, depth and mood .. all well controlled and caprtured.
However those dust particles on your sensor do bother me a bit but they are not the photographer's discrdeit in any way.
Once again its a gr8 shot and TFS.
