the half moon was shining bright on a cloudless night..
and the pretty white structure under it made an awesome sight..
Key Monastery is a very impressive structure located on top of a small hillock at an altitude of about 4150m. It is about 1000 years old, and in the course of its history it has seen numerous attacks and it's built and rebuilt into what it looks like today. It is the largest monastery in Spiti and houses about 300 monks..
This picture was taken on a full moon night, and a GND filter was used to control the exposure of the white walls of the monastery..

Namaste Prashant. Eerie and evocative shot of the monastery which seems to be in communication with the stars. The monks around the world definitely build their abodes and temples in beautiful and contemplative "perches". Well done. Regards. Klaudio.
