Lowering monsoon clouds, over lepchajagat. It was Mid may, amd typical to the pre monsoon season, afternoon would be the time for some thunder shower.
I was lucky enough to have some respite from the rain. It was late afternoon. The crimson rays just broke free for a few minutes, giving a nice snap to capture. With dark clouds, blue sky and crimson sunrays it was a nice mix n match of everything.
Lepchajagat, although a mere 16 km away from Darjeeling, has somewhat miraculously been able to maintain its pristine atmosphere,keeping away the commercial settlements, which always crowds the hilly slopes in an ugly way.
The weather here is unpredictable, sunny spells interfered most of the times by the foggy sorroundings.
