These boys are the part and parcel of Kolkata, a city which provides shelter to everyone.
Two small boys were too busy in their own world in this rainy morning as no one is there to scroll them.
When I was about to take this long shot to captue their innocent faces, they became shy....!

Two interesting human subjects in front of a yellow Ambassador taxi! This to my mind was a good photo op for you. A lower PoV and a tighter composition focussing on the kid in the red tshirt could have been good IMHO.

I like this image a lot- the lushness of the background, the shy kid, the boy engaged with the camer, and the brightly colored taxi. In a perfect world, the feet would be included, but the world's not perfect! I like the image regardless. Nice shot!!

Something different from India, I like it. This bright clean yellow taxi makes a nice background for the boys. If you hadn't said they were acting shy I would have thought that they were kind of playing "innocent" after playing around in the taxi, unauthorized, since we don't see the driver.
Anyway, I find it a good three level composition, the boys in front, then the taxi, and a nice background with trees.
I would have cropped a little on the right or cloned to remove the red car, this red spot attracts my attention away from the subject. Well done.

Indeed I agree totally with Nina especially for the something differant as I prefer people placed in their natural environment, and the strength of the three levels. Cropping the red car is a possiblity but not necessairy for me as it indicates so well India, always something bothering, flies ... noise ... now this red car.

A nice one jayita, I was thinking maybe a closer crop and sharper focus. but soon i realised it's fine enough as it is. ah, maybe a minor one, to include his legs in the picture. =)

Hi Jayita. There is an unexplainable charm about this picture. It must be the candidness of the subjects. I even like the way the colors are saturated. It is a good picture.

I agree that it would probably be better without the red car and with all the legs of the child but I really appreciate the atmosphere you got in this shot.
I've never been to Kolkata yet but with this kind of pic I'm impatient to go there (probably a trip in next March...)

Beautiful comosition, Jayita. Nice poses of the boys, specially the stand one.
The yellow taxi makes a nice balance with the green of the trees, with a soft light in the blur background.
