Photographer's Note
A scene from the Muslim district in Calcutta. I just love those wall paintings there.
I am in Jaipur now, just arrived here, 7 hours by bus... I have visited Delhi and Agra already, In Delhi I have met Sohrab, Avishek and Saraubh.
After Delhi I spent 2 days with Avishek and Saurabh in Agra... Great guys! I had a great time with them. now I am looking forward to seeing their best shots from our shooting, I know they have some really good stuff...

hey Maciek, so you are in india again!
this is really good. i like the little blur in the old man and the wall with that funny sign: please don't throw garbage here!
but strange is the red sign in a moslim district.

This shot is litterally packed with interesting features : it's almost fractal, you can get your fill of interest from the largest view to the smallest things (inscription, panther on the tank of the bike...).
I think you can't demonstrate more than here that you have a good eye for building coherent yet very complex shots. Your ability to view and understand things is your real strength more than only sensitive pics (and that's why I prefer these shots rather than portraits).
However I think you can also progress in Post Processing even though you may think that it's not the noblest part of the imaging process.
If I say that, it's just because your image would have been a little more powerful with a hint of brightness on the old muslim's dress.. simply the distance between an excellent and a perfect shot, I guess...
Don't get me wrong, the way you caught the things matching together is fantastic.

The contrast between the motocycle that is very powerful and this old man who is slower is excellent Maciej. Great daily life shot.

This is a great one, Maciek. I like the poswe of the old man and the high contrast.
THe old soviet logo looks quite new on the wall, and it is a bit strange. I like the blue door and the sign "Do nOt Throw GArbage Here".
Very good shot.

This reminds me of what you had said about trying to make your shots complex by including as many elements in your composition as possible. I wish I could join you in Rajasthan. Take care.

The complexity of the shot is great...the sicke n star catch the eye but then there's so much more to explore. is this the only shot you took here...wuld be interesting to see more passersby/activity around this spot.

Very good juxtapositioning of the old Soviet hammer & sickle, & the new Western mototorbike. Well lit & composed. The Indian looks disinterested in both.

Hey, you're making very good use of TE as a social club. Glad the trip is working out so well. This is nicely observed, I like the movement in the guys feet, very thought provoking shot. Pts tomorrow.

Great work Maciej! Red yellow and shades of B&W. Liked high contrasts and very subtle story(which everyone can have their own!)

Great Maciej!! When I visit any town or city I love to watch wall paintings and graffitties too. Counter-art (or pop-art) of any counter-culture perhaps saved there. As the wall painting in a background of a motor bike, such a contrary symbol of cold-war decade.
