From last year's hunt from Kumartuli. The first trip this year is pending for me.
The rainy season precedes the Puja season, and it becomes difficult for the artists to dry the faces of the gods. They are left to dry in open, while people pass along.

This is GOOD stuff, Arnab, real photography that grabs one by its daring and confidence. Upside down idol, blurry chaps passing b, great colors, what's there not to like?

Wonderful shot. Very good choice of frame. Excellent use of the foreground and the blurred persons give a nice dynamism.

Very well seen Arnab, the RGB colors jump to my eyes and the statue is perfectly positioned.
It gives a strange and mysterious atmosphere to this picture.

This really works well. Love how the inverted clay face of Ma Durga is positioned in the frame & also the sharpness in focus. The green of the tarpaulin & the motioned blurred men all add up. Great work!

Love the point of view. Quite strange scene in a way, for once people dominate a sleeping useless god, every hint of sacred is gone.
Excellent muted colors. A very good photo.
