Photographer's Note
The festival of Charak is a feast of sights, sounds and old traditions. Some parts of Bangal go back by several decades. Predominantly a religious festival related to the myth of the Hindu God Shiva, devotees undergo a month-long series of rituals that end on the last day of the Bengali calender, the Chaitra Sankranti.
Devotees smoke on the chillum before performing the spectacular show.

Hello Arnab,
this is a documentary shot..I really saw the pic for a good 1 min..to enjoy it...The POV is excellent and very clear shot with original colours.!!The man sitting in the left side looks like has got conked off already...

Nice shot. Good POV, colours and contrast. Do you have any other shots where the smoke is curling up? Could add to the mood of the shot.
