first of all, welcome on this site
I like the dark frame due to the ground and trees leaves, leading the eye on the rider in the mist. The man and horse are "equilibrated" by the big tree trunk

Welcome to TE! This is a beautiful image with which to introduce yourself. As always it's the light that makes the photograph. If anything, I'd had have removed a little of the foreground, but as it is, it's a fine image. I hope we see many more!

Welcome to TE first of all. This picture definitely deserves more appreciation that what it currently has. It would have been an outstanding shot if not for the composition that I feel could have been improved.
You should have moved around and experimented with different shots if the rider was moving slowly. For me the clutter in the foreground is certainly a disturbing factor, it takes away the dreamy appearance of the picture. I therefore have tried to post a WS with a crop of that area.

Wow, this is a terrific shot. Sublime light, with the horse and rider appearing like a vision. Great use of the tree as a kind of frame within the frame. Thumbs up!
