Photographer's Note
... still on our journey beside the Ganga.
the part we are in now is between Posta and Ganga.
All over this part of the city are these water taps on the roads, maintanined my the Kolkata Municipal Corporartion. The water supply is regulated and water comes only in specific times of the day, morning, noon and evening. The water is actually collected from the river, purified in the water purification plant at Talla and distributed through taps.
This water is mainly used for household purposes, washing and cleaning. This roadside tap is used by locals to wash the trucks and lorries. Pedestrains also use it.
I posted this one, with another view in the Workshop. Which one do you like?

Ha Ha!
The flow of water is just great to see.
It was not that beautiful on your LCD!
Regret, if I had snapped the same too!

another nice approch here Arnab, I really enjoy the way you changed your way .. your images are simply more and more interesting..I don't even mind the dark face.. It gives us a sense of real life shot. I simply don't understand why people sometime always want to have everything clear or visible in an image. The first goal of an image, at last to me is to transmit a feeling, and here you succesfully do.

Arnab,
I prefer the workshop - the shot is more living -
I find than you are right to show per moment another image of India because poverty forms unfortunately also part of the life and erases per moment all the smiles and the beautiful. (there is the same problem in Africa)
Bravo for your shot.
Regards (and sorry for my english - I hope you understand)

Interesting shot, Arnab I prefer this one than the ws; it is a pity that we cannot see the man's face. But the happening is interesting the same.

Arnab, I had missed this image. Very nice. I like the color and the composition. Except that I think if you crop the top of the photo just up to the top edge of the wall (yes, including the head of the man) this photo will improve a great deal. I have used up both my workshop postings for today, otherwise I would have uploaded it. If you like, I will try to remember to do it later.
