a very nice face for portrait photography. The lines of her face can really tell some stories. You composed it well nicely and exposer management is fantastic... Though I think there is a lack of sharpness and focus in this shot. Overall a good shot describing a lot. Tfs.

Namaste Madhumita,
the expression of the face of this elderly lady is impressive, her look upwards seems to be very emotive, as if she had had a vision.
The image is very dramatic, is a great portrait in spite of a bit of lack of sharpness, and has a great emotional value.

Dear Madhumita,
Good shot indeed. Though, there is some shake I guess, which has compromised the sharpness.The eyes happlessly tell the story along the lifelines on her face.I wanted to crop a bit but i realised that the framing that you have given, i cannot do. So left it like that. But see the WS, I have turned it into a B&W picture. Hope you like it.

Fantastic candid portrait: the framing and the captured expression make this special. I note that you were using a pretty big zoom, and guess that you were at the 300mm end: thus the 1/50 sec exposure hasn't been fast enough for absolute pin-sharpness, but as a grab shot, it's on the money!
