In this photograph I find where we all have originally come from. One could use a word such as “origin”. I was just thinking of myself how I am no longer able to feel fascinated by many of events in my life. Getting older and becoming more experienced is generally considered positive, but what price we pay to become what we are. And that makes me think twice about learning, it is very easy to get caught up in technical sophistication and forget about a wonderfully simple and spontaneous world that we all used to know very well. In the evolution of photographic equipment, I find similarities, gaining equals loosing at the same time, ironically. When I use the word “simple” people often misunderstand me. Simplicity = Stupidity? .. No! Simplicity = Result of painful refinement. I just want to let you how
I wish for you not to loose or forget about the origin of your approach in the process of seeking solutions. I am not saying that I am older and more experienced and wiser, certainly not, and I am glad that I am not. I don’t quite know why I talked about all that but for some reason your photo made me think about all this. Perhaps I did not talk about your photo directly, but I hope that you get a blurred picture of what I was trying to say about your photo.
