Photographer's Note
Captured it at the morning of Chhath Puja. I previously posted several shots from that day's ritual. It may be not in the same group, I mean to say it doesn't describe the scenes of that ritual but you can see the cheer on their face which is festive. Here in this frame you can see a double portrait of father and child with the happiness of that festival. Hope you'll like it.

Hello Subhendru,
I think you have noticed the advantage of adding something red to your compositions. That colour certainly brightens any view. This would in any case have been a lovely portrait of a proud father and his daughter. With the red paint (or maybe it is closer to orange) in their faces this becomes a very special double portrait. On the other hand, the girl's happy face would have brightened any picture.

Expressive double portrait with much tenderness and happiness in their gazes
I thought that it was taken during Holi but I know that red color on the face is quite common in India for any festivity
I think that I'd have cropped the sky and the trees a bit overexposed and end up more or less with a square format
