Photographer's Note
The Red Casket... the symbol of savings... You can find it in the hand of Maa Laxmi, the goddess of prosperity. I got this frame at the morning of Chhath puja beside the sacred river Ganges. The rituals of prayers for God Sun was completed, now it was the turn of Maa Laxmi. By this rituals, it is belived that the prosperity always stays with the family. I like the frame with the lady in blue and the red casket. Hope you'll also like it.

The expression of the woman's face of the woman is intense one and concentrated, also the gesture of the hand and the cure that it has regarding the sacred object. the contrast between the colors of the garment and the rose and the red one is strong impact. the space over the head is, in my opinion, a little too much extended. the photo is much beautiful and delicate one for what it tells.

This is a beautiful portrait. Shades of blue contrasting with the red are lovely. The soft lighting is effective for the mood of the scene. Serious thought and concentration are obvious here. It is a very spiritual moment for the woman. You captured it perfectly.
