There are many Buddhist temples in Bodhgaya because is one of the most sacred places for the Buddhists.

Bodhgaya is the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree.

Today it has a big temple, and the place is surrounded by stupas and monks that almost live there praying all day long.

As it is a very important place for the Buddhist countries, each one has constructed a temple in Bodhgaya, there you can visit temples from Japan, Tibet, Thailand, Vietnam, etc .. it gives a sense of the different traditions in buddhism and the different kinds of Buddhist art.
