Photographer's Note
Signals in the night during a Hong Kong night.
To tell the truth this was mostly to test that new 500mm VR with low light and low speed (without tripod). Some nice signal in the night and this is it.
A graphical test in a way.

Hi Michael, wow, you have a very nice zoom lense. Great captured of this sign in the night. Did you have a tripod?

Hi Michel,
I cannot say anything about technical details of your test since I don't know. But I can say that it is a quite beautiful image with contrast of red black and white. Each color disappears in another tone, making overall view very attractive. Chinese letters seem aesthetic in this color collage a lot :)

Amazing how you can get 1/80 on 500mm for this night exposure, but I suppose the neon light is strong enough. Looking sharp.

Hi Michel,
My dear God, a 500mm VR f/4. Oh god, I cannot stop drewling now... ;-) That is one hell of a lense. Hope you go to a gym to work out, since you need some good muscle to carry this one around hahaha. Wonderful work, the lense showing what it is worth. And you as well, balancing it at 1/80. ;-) I got the 80-400mm VR and that one is already heavy. Nice lense. I'm jealous. ;-)

Bonjour Michel,
Je vois que tu t amuses bien avec tes "petits" jouets. Un 500/4, j en reverai pour un prochain safari et enfin reussir a photographier un leopard...
Cette photo m a intriguι car dans la galerie je croyais que c etait une broderie et en lisant ta note je vois qu il s agit de tout autre chose. Sortie de tout contexte cette photo prend un caractθre assez abstrait.
Je suis assez impressionι par la qualite de l image en regard de la pleine ouverture et du 1/80 a main leve pour un objectif qui depasse les 3kg.
