Man Mo Temple in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
Temples generally stand out in HK since they are quite scarce. This one is where government officials come to ask gods for good fortune (just once a year though). I love how the light comes in through the roof and is reflected from the incense pots. The spiral things on top are also incense.
Didn't change anything in the picture except the size. Hope you like it!

Great use of the "incensed" light! It certainly stands out. The buckets and brightness remove any feelings of dark mystery or "ancient Chinese secret," but it gives a feeling of this temple in the bright sun of everyday life, which is a good and refreshing view.

I think the rays of light make the place seem even more mystic and touched by heaven. What a special place, thanks for sharing! You make me feel like I was right in the picture with this composition!

This is very beautiful. The way you captured the light streaming through to the pots is great. It really has an mystical feel. One of lightness and special power. And it makes for the pots to appear so soft and light in this sharp image. The simple wooden posts and beams surrounding this area really add to the mystical power of the shot. So simple yet with this amazing light and these golden pots. Very beautifully done. Great job.

Great picture,
The shards of light kind of reflect the inner emotion of the temple.
The calmness and underlying principle of good fortune and health are everywear.
I like the intensity of the hanging red paper.
