Photographer's Note
This is the most spectacular mountain view that I have ever had in my life. The altitude is around 4000 meters here, which is why the sky is so blue and just below the mountain ridges, hidden by the low-floating clouds is Shangarila.
I persuaded one of my fellow travelers to stand in this shot for me, just to help balance the scene and help lead the viewer’s eye to this splendid vista.

Hi Terry. The layering effect is very strong and gives a wonderful punch to this photo. I like blues and this really jumps out of the screen. Good work, a classic from Shangri-la. Murray.
