Photographer's Note
In the West, seniors tend to congregate at malls, in China, they go to any open public place.

I like your work here - while the rest of the world is moving on in the gray daily routine, this senior is sitting down, taking a better look... Great photo Gene.

I like the effect and the meaning behind the scene. I suppose you used Photoshop to put your color photo in black & white and kept the man sitting in color? How did you do it? I would like to try something like that. :o) Thanks for your help and time in advance. :o)

Very interesting composition and work on this photo! I like a lot the mix of color/BW togheter with the focused/motion blur. It really creates two different worlds.
About your frame I'm a bit devided... I believe it enhances the movement feeling from the left to the right but I would prefer another colors perhaps and a bit larger on the left side. Nevertheless it's a bold experience and I enjoy that!

I do like these selective desaturations.....well done for achieving this result Gene...maybe, just maybe, a small crop towards the top of this image enhances it?

This shot is also very nice. Since everything is in b+w it looks like either time is frozen except for the colored in man or he is drawn into the photo. It may also look nice if he were also black and white...not sure though.
