Photographer's Note
Yangshuo is a beautiful little tourist town down river for Giulin. A great place stay with very reasonable rates for lodging with western and asian food. The photo you see is a 20 minute bike ride from town. Its an easy ride on level ground all the way. The rafts you see are make of bamboo and for a few dollars you can take a ride with a poleman doing the work for you wail you take photos traviing down river.

Hi Stephen,
Nice POV and very nice atmosphere. Great to see so many open boats with bamboo sticks.
I have done a workshop for you as the right end seems a bit overexposed.

A good alternative to Venetian gondolas ;-)
Good river perspective with the fading hills seeming to be inaccessible, I like this busy foreground with the orange color plots

pleasant image of this curious way of traveling on the river. Interesting the strange form of the rocks in the BG and the beautiful chromatic effect of the boats of bamboo. Excellent photo, rich of details well defined. Compliments!

Hi Stephen,
Very interesting scenery with these strange rocky formations (they must have a better/proper name?) and the rafts in the opposite corner. You sure know that the milky sky is not the strong side of your photo, but I find that its "descriptive content" amply compensate for this minor flaw. That's travel photo! You shoot it when you happen to be there.
