Photographer's Note
Taken in the Ganden Palace section of Drepung Monastery, on the outskirts of Lhasa. The feet above represent Buddha's feet, while the throne in the background was used by the 5th Dalai Lama. Ganden Palace at Drepung was the home to the first 5 Dalai Lama's, before the 5th started building the Potala Palace.

This is an interesting record of an interesting place. The note is very good. It's an unusual way to approach such a shot, that is straight and head on, but sometimes this works. It was a very difficult exposure to make and it hasn't worked fully. I see you did not use flash, so the burn out of the front red columns must be from natural light. It's an interesting picture but it lacks sharpness and the contrast need adjustment. This is natural when working with such a difficult light. regards Kevin
