like this shot. A great sculpture of Bruce Lee and so perfectly placed in the frame to give a sense of scale and presence when shown against this backdrop. The low cloud actually adds to the effect as do the railings. Super detail and an outstanding presentation.

i have the same photo of the statue but shoted in the night.As ever the same foggy atmosphere with the bones of the habitants to are very 'wet' i think.Excellent presentation and well chosen POV.

Wow, Kyzysztof, what a fantastic scene here! In tough light you really gave life to this statue with excellent framing; the slope of the walkway gives some movement to the scene, as does Lee's pose here. Wonderful detail on the statue, which is itself great - full of implied kinetic energy all the way through. Amazing misty skyline in BG.

I see Juan's comment about the couple in BG; I agree, though it also would have worked to get them full in frame, thereby providing scale.

I like the fact that the visitors in the distant being part of the compo adding the important scale as to the size of this famous sculpure, I think some sunshine would do this the power of good, even though its overcast this image has excellent color contrast and a more gripping image. The format suits the subject very well and this is obviously there for the tourists but the important thing is that the atmosphere complements the subject matter well. Congrats, TFS

This is brilliant, and a perfect memorial to the great man. That you have composed this so well, with the statue to one side, and the astounding city beyond is even better still. I love the idea of this Avenue of Stars, and this picture makes a perfect advertisement for it.
I am really enjoying seeing a new side to this city through your shots.

your composition is well balanced, dynamic and suggestive and makes great use of the moody lighting and colours too. The way Bruce Lee (if I'm not mistaken) is associated with the foggy and mysterious distant cityscape is marvellous, they are superb reference for each other. Your point of view also makes the iconic hero's posture and expression as he rises above the skyline meaningful and captivating. Congratulations and thank you!

to zdjecie przypomina mi jak wielkie wrazenie zrobil na mnie Bruce Li, gdy bylam mala dziewczynka. Za kieszonkowe kupilam nawet jego podobizne do wprasowania na moja koszulke ;-)
Ladna glebia i bardzo dobrze wybrany POV. Bardzo d obra ostrosc.

The statue adds a lot of foregrond interest, and as you say, the impressive skyline looks great even in the fog. The long walkway creates a nice perspective. The splash of blue in the stonework is a nice addition. Very nice work:) TFS. Enjoy your Sunday.

The sculpture is a very good representation of Bruce Lee, I think that's who he is supposed to be. I like the low hanging mist, it adds to the mood. Good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Krzysztof,

The big presence of Bruce Lee in the foreground is a fitting way to showcase this statue, and his renowned fame and popularity. The weather may not have been the most desirable, but it still made for some moody conditions and atmosphere as the stormy clouds hover over the skyline. In fact, I really like how the foreground light gently fades to the back, taking me into the scene. There's enough detail and viewable skyline to make this composition more expressive, especially considering the pose. I even enjoy the couple in the near background, adding to the sense of depth and scale. You made the most out of a cloud filled sky with dull light, kudos for a great finished image. Well done. Thanks for sharing this portion of the Avenue. have a great day.
