Photographer's Note
This guy was hanging around the Lama Temple in Beijing. He was happy and asked me to take his picture, but when I pointed the camera at him he got a sly look. I don't know what he was doing out there in front of the temple... Some of his friends were hanging around too.

Hi Josh,
Interesting portrait and equally interesting note. It really is a smug look, and your note gives some background to this. I wonder what he is thinking...
I like that this is a close-up photo and that the focus is solely on this cryptic man.
