Le guerrier portait ses amulettes autour du cou pour se sentir invicible.
Il tenait à la main une arbalette et des flèches à transpercer le coeur.
Il montait la garde à l'entrée du village.
Il était le soldat redouté.
Le gardien du temple.
Celui que l'on respecte et que l'on glorifie.
Mais comme c'était un enfant,
je l'ai fait rire avec trois mots bien placés.

Hi Bertrand,
What you need is the 85m/m portrait lens. I have seen some great portraits from your hand and buying such a lens is the ultimate Christmas present ;-)
Although this is absolute not bad and really a nice shot, i think (know for sure) that a prime 85m/m lens will give you even more in detail, clarity and sharpness.
The dof here at 5.6 is excellent, nice and soft and of course the smile from the boy is worth a million...wonderful.

Quel môme incroyable! Quelle photo magnifique!
Tu as réussi une composition vraiment nickel, je suis bouche bée! Tout est cadré méticuleusement, et tu as réussi à intégrer le bandeau, la corne, l'oreille et le dessus de la tête sans rien guillotiner... C'est hallucinant.
La lumière est sublime, l'ouverture à f/5.6 est pertinente avec ce background flou et l'expression du gamin est top!!! Mes hommages.
Ça faisiait quelque temps que je n'avais pas ajouté un "favorite" à ma liste; cette photo le mérite amplement!

Hi Bertrand. A good happy capture of this little guy wearing local headwear. I like the spontaneity you have caught so well. Spending a lot of time in Asia, it is rather a shame to see far fewer natural smiles when back to Australia. My theory is as a country develops it loses a lot of the humanity which was there initially. It shows a journey is often more relevant than the destination. TFS. Murray.

Bertrand, c'est un très beau portrait d'enfant avec cette flamme dans le regard qu'on ne peut trouver que chez eux. On dit que chacun passe sa vie à retrouver ses rêves d'enfant. C'est la réflexion que cette bonne bouille m'inspire. Pour l'art du portrait rien ne vaut la connivence avec le sujet.

Je note une très bonne mise au point sélective qui isole l'enfant par rapport à l'arrière-plan.
