According to the latest statistics by CIA as of July 2007, current Cambodia population is 13,995,904 including 5% Vietnamese. Among these 700,000 Vietnamese living in Preahreacheanachakr Kampuchea, I do not know how many children are attending class now, and how many free class for them to learn the maternal language. But I do know a so-called class in the heart of red-light district of Siem Reab City. There is no sign, and local people called it “The Love Class”.

This picture shows the notice posted on the wall since almost two years ago. The sheet looks no longer valid, but in fact, the class is active, based on random donations from travelers or those who found the info online, and gave a hand…
