Photographer's Note
In the great lake of Tonle Sap (largest fresh water lake in South East Asia), at the floating village of Chong Khneas.... nearest floating village to Siem Reap (Siem Reab).
Migrant Vietnamese people are too poor to stay on land and had to resort to living on floating homes on the lake. Most of them eke out a living from fishing.
Children go to one of the floating schools here. We bought some noodles to donate to this school and had the opportunity to see the children gathered during lunch time.

It is sad that children dont have comfortable conditions for living and learning, in the world there are so many people who need help

Hello Sam,
It's heartwarming to see children from such very poor conditions looking after all well dressed and well nourished and being taken care of. This is an interesting and touching photo, but to be honest it is rather dark, so I made an alternative version and hope you won't mind.
Kind regards,
Gert
