Angkor Wat is filled with atmosphere, and usually filled with tourists too! Here I am alone at last. The largest Hindu temple in the world in the 14th century. The entire civilization disappeared, and jungle reclaimed the land till the 20th century. Earthquakes, wars, ans Communists have wracked havoc on this ancient beauty! Now Buddha reigns supreme in the ruins. Much needed work is being currently done for repairs.
