Hi Murray,
The elephants are well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the elephants and of the conductors(cornack). The strong light does not affect to much the output of the colors. have a nice day.

Light illuminating the elephant is very beautiful though it's a bit of a pity for such a good image that the ground is blown out. The fine black border helps to make the image stand out more beautifully.

The modern jugle taxi, perhaps not comfortable but a pleasure for the trip sit high on the elephants
You create a lot depth and perspective through your choice of the angle.
Sharpness and clarity are nice for look at.

Hello Murray,
Your choice of square frame for this shot was wise, having eliminated all extraneous elements. The colorful material draped over the elephants, and indeed the garb of the elephants' handlers adds useful highlight to the elephants who are rather drab in color. It's remarkable how different these Asian Elephants appear than their African cousins.
After perusing your original version without the cropping, I would like to offer an alternative version. Warm regards and have a good weekend.

Hi Murray,
Firstly, congratulations on 888 photos on TE, surely a very lucky number for the Chinese I am guessing. I like this composition of the fine Asian Elephants here in Cambodia. The way they are clad in the royal red 'clothing' is very photogenic. A good background is had with the tropical vegetation. A great image, reminds me of my visit to Thailand where I rode elephants. TFS.
