Photographer's Note

Phnom Penh city centre is next to the Tonle Sap river which flows from the great lake Tonle Sap from the north. The Tonle Sap river meets the mighty Mekong River in Phnom Penh itself.

The existence of Phnom Penh owes very much to the transportation provided by these two rivers. The Tonle Sap can take one to the north great lake which shore is near to Siem Reap about 15 km away. To the south, one can board a boat all the way to Vietnam Mekong Delta.

Sitting at the Titanic Restaurant which is next to the river jetty, one can enjoy a sumptous Cambodian meal, have a cold Angkor beer, and soak in the beautiful view of the river and all the activities on it. Cruise and dine boats are popular with tourists here and can be seen docking or leaving every half hour.

Lovely place to visit ....Phnom Penh. Will be back for sure.
