Photographer's Note

This is the Phnom Penh Kiling Fields again. This ornate building is the ossuary into which the exhumed remains of the thousands that were executed, have been interred. The dark areas in the foreground were mass graves that have now been excavated.

In PS:
* First I removed a palm tree that intersected with the ossuary using the cloning stamp. I did this because I felt it detracted from the impact of the building which I wanted to present stading alone. I experimented with removing the other one, but found that this was unescessary and did not enhance the image. I also removed a small shelter that was on the lh side of th image, tucked up into the trees.
* I then created a blank layer, changed the blending mode to soft light, at 50% opacity to act as a burn and dodge layer. I found this to be better than the actual tools for the job, which can be quite harsh on the image, leaving obvious artefacts where used to much. Onthis layer I burned in the sky and silhouette, dodged the paths and building.
* tweakede contrast in curves.
* resized, shapened added border and saved for TE
