Photographer's Note
I took this photograph of the Opera House in Yerevan partly to show the beauty of the building and its architecture, but perhaps more primarily because the colours created by the sunset were just too good to miss...
NB: A few people mentioned the disturbing effect of the wire in the sky, and even though I like keeping photos more 'natural', I uploaded a workshop version where I've cloned out the wire.
So if you also think the wire shouldn't be there, take a look at the ws :)

Hello Nune,
I'm happy to see your pictures from Yerevan. Yerevan is my birthplace. I like that city!
At the 'Opera House' is there always much people in the summer. The cafes and restaurants are very popular in the evening. Very nice picture Nune!
I hope to see more pictures in the future.

Hi Nune, interesting composition with the lights on the opera. The contrast between the opera's colors and the sky is great. One little thing about the wire at the top of the picture, you should have tried to get rid of it in the frame.
Cheers

The balance between sky and the rest of the image is perfect. it very well gives the atmosphere of a nice Yerevan early summer evening.
Maybe a little bit more contrast would give the image even more power.

Hi Nune,
Beautiful shot with a nearly irreal atmosphere, the people in the lower part bring us back to reality whereas the building seems getting from some fairy tale.

Dear Nune,
you are a young lady but look at this great picture that speaks of experience in photography! What you caught here is called in my family a "magic moment", an arrangement of light and shadow that does'nt last for more than a few seconds. I saw this Opera house myself several times but never had it occured to me as so interesting like it is here. You caught the magic moment, my compliments. I will be glad to see more of your pics.
Cheers, Dietrich

Hello Nune,
I have put this picture in my favourites, I decided even from the thumbnail. The quality of light on the building and the people gives the impression of a filmset, even more so with the shadows.

Hi Nunι!
I love all sorts of opera houses and all their ingredients. I also love such beautifully captured night and evening shots especially when taken at the blue hour. The lights and pink-orange tones on the building are just great. The crowd which probably consists mostly of opera lovers like me, generate a great movement and add warmth to your beautiful subject. Only the wire is a little bit disappointing but this should probably be the best POV you could achieve.
Congrats and cheers :D

Hazar Barev Nune Jan,
This picture brings back memories of my short period in Armenia. I remember the first morning of my stay in Yerevan, I visited the Operah square and sat there and had a great conversation with two young musicians. The area which surrounds the Operah square has unfortunatly all fallen into the hands of cafe owners. However despite this fact, the image you captured is beautiful. It happens so that the certain time in the day when you took this photo is my favorite time in the day in Yerevan. Everything is so calm and the people just walk on the streets holding arms with their loved ones. Shad geghetseek ngar ah. Shad apres.

This is an amazing picture Dear Nune! The balance of the evening light above and the tungsten light below together with the motion of the people offer a great composition. Excellent work.

Amazing colors, i love it. The colors of the sky really add a dramatic feel to the image, great POV. The lights of the opera house just add the final touch of making this picture perfect. i also liked the relaxed atmosphere the people have created, having a little chat with friends. well done.
