hej Rob
it adds an interaction and maybe it's better than to show this without human presence,
the artwork is really interesting, I like the style of these sculptures

Hello Rob,
I love this shot of the three Dutch people contemplating the group of Chinese statues, who are in turn, contemplating them. There is a measure of discomfort it seems in the two men gazing anthropomorphically at the statues. The bright red T-shirt of the Dutchman on the left adds a nice color highlight.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Bonjour Rob,

Mooi plan.
Groeten gerrit

hahaha, so funny, Rob. Another original and very well presented ART situation. It's great to see how the real ones are so interested and curious about green chinese...how did they get with that look? What the hell are they doing in China, lol? Also nice to see the squating one and the POV at his level. I bet you were squating down too...

For some strange reason these sculptures remind me a lot of some of LS Lowry's paintings; not the Matchstick Men, but his closer views of people, like 'My family'. It could be something to do with the nonchalant poses and the miserable faces. I love how you took this image showing the interaction of the people viewing the sculptures.

Hola Rob.
The presence of the three Dutches facing the interesting and original Chinese sculptures is very good, great light management and good colors and sharpness, looks like you didn't have free space behind you and wasn't able to get the two men with their shoes. Good work.
TFS.
Best regards.

Hi Rob,
An excellent art shot. It looks like a contemporary version of the terrcotta army of Xian. Really interesting with their different faces and looks. Really great with the three visitors studying the sculpture. Each of them with their own style and with different looks, just like the sculptures. TFS and have a nice weekend!
Cheers,
Ulf

Hallo Rob,
Goed gedaan, bedankt.
Groeten, prettig weekend,
John.

:))) Very nice idea. Confrontation I mean. The human scale of sculptures and their common attitude makes them partners for exhibition visitors. Started to think b&w version would made them more equal - am posting my version to WS - hope you don't mind :))

A strange "face ΰ face" between the livings and the sculptures, enhanced by the contrast in colors: monochromatic for the scuptures, and brightly colors for the people. A nice composition.
All the best,

Bert

Hi Rob,
The sculptures are very interesting, but what makes the photo really special is the confrontation (the word is very well chosen) between those Chinese guys and the Dutch people. Very well seen and captured! A less inspired mind would see the people as disturbing and probably wait for them to move away.

Hey Rob,

Fulvio.

Hello Rob
Quite a funny composition and the 3 observers seem to be studying the sculptures seriously. They almost seem to interacting as though they are real people. Tfs, Marlene
