Photographer's Note
A swamp called "Hoeflein Moor" at the Radsberg plateau near Klagenfurt. There are big tussocks underneath the fresh snow which cause the wave structure.
The shot was made in the afternoon, I produced the night look simply by pushing the middle button of level adjustments to the right.

Very nice minimalist image, very elegant.
We don't need more for having a good image which gives pleasure to our eyes.
A title well appropriate.
Before reading your note, i was thinking it was sand.
Good idea.

GENIAL ... es glitzert wie verrueckt, wie im Maerchen. Dein "Trick" wirkt, ich haette gedacht es sei dunkle Nacht mit Mondschein. Gruss + schoener Abend, Barbara.

Hello Christian,
This is a frame filled with magic! The sparkles look like fairy dust that has been sprinkled over the waves. It is a true winter dream, and I really like it!

Seriously hesitate does TE moderator can accept all that sensual snow series which you've presented us recently, Chris..??
Another bed cover, this time silver silk - glittering with a beautiful decoration of small diamonds all over and all those naked bodies lying under.. lying, moving, turning back, sensually dance, touching each other, caressing another body of no face in such a deep dark.. no name, no face, sensual impulse of warm skin in the winter night..
apparently the window stayed open..:)

Hi Christian
This one exert a strange influence on me. An almost sensual attraction. As attraction to something prohibited. The textures, the softness of the patterns, the dark hues... all this combined give a great mysterious mood to the image. The tight framing, that doesn't allow us to realise the real scale of the view, is perfect. The constrasts are just right too. Congratulations.

Hallo Christian,
na, mal ganz was anderes und es gefδllt mir sehr gut, besonders natόrlich wie der Schnee glitzert. Aber auch die Wellen und die Schatten sind wunderbar. Sehr artistisch!

Hi Christian
Fantastic effect you've created here. Could be diamonds on the moon, lol.
Nice tight framing and square format to keep in with the artistic feeling.

uuuuh i am not too sure chris..yes its pretty..no the frame doesnt have enough to keep me engaged..i mean i could used this on a big empty wall and use it to travel and let my imagination fly..this frame could be a good catalyst...and yes this could serve purpose in pictorial photography as a BG for making an art piece using layers in PS..
But hey...well seen and exposed..its moody more than anything else..well done

Christian,
An incredible effect, which leads to an image which fires some recognition in us, whilst remaining, well, totally strange - something we've never seen before. Mysterious and pleasureable.

Absolutely fantastic! The stars touching the earth!
You converted something ordinary in something magic by just pushing the level adjustment to the right ;-)))
Means...we have to explore more!
