Photographer's Note
Port Campbell National Park contains a diverse range of coastal environments includes woodlands, dunes, wetlands, coastal cliffs, limestone stacks and arches.
Most well known are the the twelve apostles, stacks made of rock formed up to 20 million years ago, and are created by the sea gradually eroding the soft limestone cliffs.
Nearby, but not as famous is the Razor Back

Hello Steve,
It's certainly a remarkable rock, but the most stunning feature of this photo IMO is the balance of colors, the green of the foreground shrub matching that of the sea and on top of the rock, the white froth against the green parts, the blue sky against the sand-colored rocks. It's a fine composition with the foreground and the nearest rock both on a diagonal line. For a climber it would be a challenge to reach the top of the rock. Did anyone ever try?
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Stephen
we understand how the sea is eroding the cliffs and let only some islands. Nice hues in the rocks and impressive waves crashing at the foot of them.
Kind regards

Hi Stephen,
A dynamic image of this famous piece of coastal ware. The whole region is a photographer's paradise. As the years march on the rock continues to shape and as we saw not so long ago, one of the Apostles fell and the London Bridge formation did the same a couple of decades earlier. I guess the large crack on the seaward side is indication of the next pice to go. A well composed and suitably saturated photo with good supportive foreground composition. Well done,
Matt
