Photographer's Note
The Monastery of Virgin Mary is located in a large rock cave on the side of the mountain and is visible from far away. It is a Monastery with a few nuns and is the first that has your attention, when driving from Levidi to Kandila village. This photo was taken in "The Dormition of the Holy Virgin", the most important celebration in Greece, when the celebration has ended.

You do not have people in your pictures very often, but this one proves that you are very good at portraits, as well, not only at landscapes!
Great shot of the nun in her natural environment. Excellent light management, all of the inside of the church is prefectly visible, although it was probably not lit very well, and all of the details of the black robes are there, as well.

Geia sou Vasilis, a most interesting look into Greek customs. I did not know there were nuns in the Orthodox church, so have learnt something new. Good use of the vertical, I like the blurred movement of her hands, it adds life and dynamism to the shot. Great work, TFS, Lisa

Here in Belgium can almost not find nuns, perhaps a very old nun in an old monastery.
Lovely through the moving of the hand this fist perfect in these picture.
