Photographer's Note
Sunrise at Neelkantha peak, as seen from Badrinath dham. A very common photo of a common place but every time this sunrise visual is as beautiful as the morning before. I humbly tried to capture the breathtaking moment when the sunrays touches the surface of this peak to transcend into a pallette of colors to our eyes delight.

The light on the snowy mountain is very nice. The dark foreground gives some depth to the picture.

Hi Paromita,
A wonderful picture from Badrinath - one of my favorite places in Uttarakhand!
The morning light on these peaks is perfect - even though the foreground is rather dark, the correctly exposed peaks make this photo great.

Good.Its difficult to avoid the dark part.I feel the peak could be more sharp.

Hi Paromita,
Superb photo from your wonderful, diverse nation. I like how the side peaks remain dark while the taller ones are clearly lit by the sunlight. Good sharpness and details, I especially like the low cloud hanging in the valley below. Another part of the Himalayas I wish to someday see. Thank you.
