"I am the god of hellfire,
and I'll bring you..."

The Temple of Hephaestos, aka the Hephaisteion, is a well-preserved Greek temple at the north-west side of the Agora of Athens, on top of the Agoraios Kolonos hill. It is a Doric peripteral temple.
Hephaestos was the son of Zeus and Hera, the king and queen of the gods. He is the god of blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes.
As blacksmith, Hephaestos made all the weapons for the gods.

Hello Benny ,
Not so eay to well capture the old temples . You've done it vey well here , especially in term of framing and angle of view . But the beauitful light and the sky are other great features .

Hello Benny,
As for the temple dating back to 4th centure BCE, it is indeed very well-preserved :)
I like the colours of your photo and its simplicity - not many details, but a clear theme and beautiful sky in the background.
Regards,
Karolina
