Photographer's Note
I managed to capture the breaking off of a part of the Perito Moreno glacier. Perhaps not the best exposure, butI think the action is dramatic!
The falling ice makes a lot of noise...

Indeed dramatic shot Piotr...Just looking at it the spectator can almost feel the tremendous power of the avalance...Very well captured on the right moment!

Nice shot Piotr, but may be could you crop a little bit the botton of your picture in order to erase the people. I think they don't add something to your photo and by this way you will save its wild aspect.

A dramatic shot, you capture it at the right moment!
IMO, the spectator below give the glacier real perspective. I think the exposure is correct!

abocc has a good point about cropping the lower part and this is a very dramatic picture.

Great capture for an spectacular and really dramatic moment. I agree with Abocc and Evilren about cut the top. It will be better.

This is really dramatic. Very nicely done, although I agree with the cropping off of the bottom. The people in your shot distract me from the image a bit. Anyway, excellent work here. Very nicely done!

Your exposure may be a hair off, but it's good enough to produce a great action shot.
I'll put in a vote for erasing the people.
What exposure did you use to get this shot?

Really spectacular. Was it luck to be there at this very moment ? It seems to be a great Nature event !
Technically, the picture may be a little over-exposed but works really fine ! Incredibly fine !

I actually prefer it with the people in - it gives a sense of scale.
Great shot

A great shot! I like the people on the bottom because they are not in the way and give you a good idea of the scale of the place.

dramatic!crazy! very well captured. i also like the ant-like humans down below witnessing the spectacle. i'm sure it sounds like 10,000 thunders going off together..
you seem to be at a much higher level. where were you?

Cool. You are REALLY lucky to experience that, it's a BIG break and having the camera ready is just too good.

Czesc Piotrek!
Znakomite zdjecie

Well captured, just in the nik of time. Does the glacier give you much warning before it drops chunks of ice? Thanks for sharing.
