Photographer's Note
As mentioned in my previous post, i was surprised that I had only posted 4 photo's from the city of Wroclaw. Well, now its 6. Plus a few WS photo's too :)
Here in Canada we don't get to see very many Gothic, or Baroque style Cathedrals, or should i say very many Historic Cathedrals of any kind! Certainly not in comparison to Europe.
Here we have the entrance way, and I wanted to show it loud and proud :)
There are additional versions in the WS too.
Hope you enjoy this HDR version
cheers

Intéressant cadrage du portail d'entrée de la cathédrale de Wroclaw, le HDR bien maitrisé donnant une belle luminosité à l'ensemble.

Hi Craig,
so you´re trying to catch up with Wroclaw now?Good idea as it´s really picturesque city.I like also this close-up and your idea to put stress only on the entrance with so many details.Gothic is fascinating. And after your HDR treatment all details look really magnificent.Gothic architecture seems to be a great subject for HDR technique.Well done!I hope you have still some pictures from Wroclaw to be presented on TE!
Best regards

Hello Craig,
This is a good close-up view of this cathedral entrance with sharp details. It is true we don't have this style in Canada where nothing over 250/300 years old can be found.
Best regards

Bonjour Craig,
J'espère que ton HDR va demeuré un petit peu plus longtemps que le mien sur la toile car il est très beau et fait formidablement ressortir les détails de cette devanture historique.

Hello Craig,
All three pictures are very good and anyone could have been used as the official upload. Maybe this one, from the lowest POV, makes the façade and its many fine details look the most impressive. I guess it's the HDR treatment that has given the architecture an almost 3D effect.
Best regards.

Hi Craig
Goody the number's slowly climbing! I remember a similar Photo you posted of a cathedral in the U.S. somewhere that had this same striking POV, although quite different architecture. It works so well that tight frame which concentrates on the amazing architectural details and textures. Again, very subtle HDR work, which really has evened out the light and made the most of the colours and textures.
Thanks for sharing,
Lisa

Hi Craig,
Smart control over perspective here placing the central verticals on a perpendicular axis and leaving the left and right to fall where they will. Took me a while to figure this out. Nice warm cold color contrasts between the blue & yellow red tints in the impressive cathedral. Tfs!

Hi Craig,
That's an impressive entrance way, and it makes me think of how this style affects the building. Even though this is a cathedral and a place to welcome one and all, the decoration makes me think more of a spooky old castle in which we would find all manner of creepy figures. A beautiful example of the detail and decoration or this fine cathedral, it's detailed and very impressive in its scale.
Cheers
Noel
